17 consortia prequalified for Egypt’s seawater desalination programme

REDCON Construction is proud to be one of the 17 consortia prequalified by the Sovereign Funds of Egypt (TSFE) for the tendering process of developing seawater desalination plants powered by renewable energy in various locations across Egypt.

The prequalification was carried out through technical assistance of the ministry of Finance’s Public-Private Partnership Central Unit within the first phase of Egypt’s water desalination program.

The program aims to implement projects with a combined capacity of 8.85 million cubic meters per day by 2050, with the first phase targeting 3.35 million cubic meters by 2025.
